If you only had the time, right?  That’s the tagline for the new short term Peace Corps program designed to entice skilled professionals to sign up for 3-12 month programs.  Personally, I’ve always had the Peace Corps dream – doing good somewhere exotic, while learning a new language and culture in what would certainly be a life-changing experience. Right after college, I was too loaded down with debt and the dream of making bank after all those lean years getting my education to join the Corps, but now, maybe there’s another way to do it as a kind of sabbatical from the working world.  I looked at the short-term Peace Corps website with postings and  – while there aren’t many positions listed – one may be just right for you.
